The initial cost to build and operate the 3 metric ton per month pilot plant will be R 5 000 000-00 and this input investment will be recovered in 37 months if the plant is not scaled to 500 ton /month production. It is very important to have a suitable equity partner with extensive access to international markets to ensure the best price and offset for our product.

Scalability of 3 metric ton / month plant

It is of the utmost importance to scale the pilot plant to a full production plant of 500 metric ton / month to capitalise on the benefits of turnover and low production cost. The cost to scale the plant will be R 200 000 000-00 and this cost will be recovered in 9 months.
